The Pennsylvania studio will serve clients operating within the state and hold both generic and dedicated tables, primarily focusing on games like Blackjack, Baccarat and Roulette. Job Description Evolution Gaming is looking for a new addition to our international Technical Operations team to be based in an upcoming studio in Philadelphia, PA. The Our IT/Video Specialist is responsible for project builds, and ongoing IT/Video support of our studios' gaming floor environments. The basic responsibilities and expectations for the position are as follows: Maintain and configure the studio technical infrastructure (cameras, network enabled audio/video devices, encoder servers, etc) establish and refine build process, plan resources. Prepare and provide required reports, provide needed information to MCR and other departments. Plan and keep timelines for projects and delegated tasks. Plan and organize the studio equipment maintenance and repair works and maintain maintenance / repair log. Request and order needed equipment, tools and materials. Planning, encoding infrastructure needs for new studios and solutions and manage studio build process. Participate in video encoding solution testing, development and improvement. Participate in R&D and solution design process. Organize video encoding and related equipment maintenance and repair works. Qualifications Secondary (higher, special etc.) education. At least 2 years of experience in supporting user IT devices hardware and software. Intermediate experience working with IP-enabled devices. General Linux command-line skills are a desired asset. Ability to create and terminate data (CAT5e, CAT 6, SDI, etc.) cables are a desired asset. Familiarity with handling cameras (mounting, focus adjustment, lenses) an asset but not required as a hiring condition. Experience with wiring and cabling of electrical / electronic components, including soldering / splicing, is a significant asset. Experience with cable organizational management and labeling is an asset. Experience working in commercial / industrial workspaces where construction may be taking place. Fundamental IT skills - hardware, OS, applications, networking, security. Experience using and managing workstations in heterogeneous environment, remote management services, file-sharing, collaboration, e-mail and directory services. Fundamental knowledge of IT procedures and security principles. Knowledge of server OS and networking devices configuration, installation and maintenance preferred. Ability to contribute extra hours outside of regular weekly working hours in order to deliver on tight deadlines Must be able to travel (obtain / maintain valid passport status) in order to attend training / support teams in other offices.
