Respiratory Therapist

Pinnacle Healthcare, LLC - Crown Point, IN - Evaluates, treats, and cares for patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system. Performs tasks like: Responding to all medical emergency calls (code blue) in accordance with standards; Responsible for the pre-op assessment and education of particular surgical patients; Explains planned therapy and/or diagnostics and its goals to the patient; Responsible for diagnostic testing and monitoring the following: pulmonary screen, oximetry, capnography, peak flow assessments, transcutaneous oxygen/carbon dioxide and electocardiogram.
