Louisville Tile Distributors - Cincinnati, OH - Description: Louisville Tile Distributors of Cincinnati is seeking a Residential Sales Rep. This position is responsible for building the Louisville Tile brand, with a focus on building residential business relationships within residential designers, builders and kitchen and bath community. The position will involve making outside sales calls as well as working with clients in our showroom. Louisville Tile's strength is understanding of business needs and relationships within the specialized tile community. Louisville Tile can enhance the business of residentially focused users of tile related products. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Requirements: Residential Sales Rep - Tile/ Flooring Requirements Three (3) years of sales experience in the area of design or construction materials is strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to build design relationships, through use of design credentials, training, educational and/or degree or equivalent is required. Local market knowledge and relationships. Knowledge of residential specification sales process. Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook email, and related electronic tools, calendar and Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Residential Sales Rep - Tile/ Flooring Key Functions: Identify persons and entities who could benefit from Louisville Tile expertise in tile related products, and, Develop relationships with the goal of finding ways provide solutions and streamline business operations. Build relationships around product and design knowledge. Be able to provide ideas for cost effective design and installation, and for the use of on-line customer interfaces for communication and to streamline customer access to information. Residential Sales Rep - Tile/ Flooring Daily, weekly and monthly activities will include: Calls on key relationships including Designers, Residential Architects, Custom Home Builders, Kitchen and Bath Designers and Design Build firms. Continuing education on design and installation trends, Create tile and stone specifications for Louisville Tile. Identification of new projects, along with follow-up on potential and upcoming projects. Build and maintain an accountable strategic sales plan to build market share, and communicating these places clearly and effectively to leadership. The successful Residential Sales Rep - Tile/ Flooring candidate will: Have the desire to work and achieve results as a team. Be honest and have a sound work ethic. Be excited, or passionate, about tile related products; both tile design and tile installation. Be a self-starter and be motivated and be proactive. Understand sales fundamentals, have a sales plan, work the sales plan, adjust the plan, and have strong follow-up. Create outreach programs to identify and establish relationship with custom builders, designers, installers kitchen and bath, and dealers with awareness of the benefits of partnering with builders and installers already serving those builders. Be an advocate of self-service technology for dealers and all customers. Use Salesforce, or other job tracking software or customer relationship software, to create and maintain jobs status lists, record weekly/monthly opportunities, etc. Review daily open orders for follow-up, trends, add-on's, missing product categories, etc. Review new information, new relationships, changed relationships, new leads, new installers, challenges, and successes, weekly with the residential team at the branch.
