Quality Control Chemist

Greensboro, NC - Quality Control Chemist Currently seeking an individual with BS/BA in chemistry, chemical engineering or equivalent experience. Experience with MS Office and inventory/process control software required. Must have experience with acrylic emulsions or polyurethane dispersions and the ability to work 8 hour rotating shifts and if required, be able to lift forty-five pounds. Duties will consist of, but not be limited to, performing in-process, stability testing for Viscosity, Minimum film formation temperature, Acid value, Hydroxyl value, FTIR analysis and Residual monomer by GC. The ability to perform statistical analysis to monitor batch to batch consistency and work with technical services, production, outside laboratories and suppliers to solve quality problems.
