Creative Circle - Boston, MA - Position: Senior Designer Location: WFH during Covid-19 Starts: As soon as right candidate is found Duration: 6 months + Status: Freelance/ possible Full Time Rate: DOE Our client, one of the top shoe and sportswear brands in the Boston area, is looking for a Senior Designer to join their Internal Creative Agency! The Art Director will be reporting into the Creative Director and will have an integral role on the internal creative team. You will be responsible for high level concepting all the way through execution, with a focus on digital. Responsibilities include: - Work with the team on all deliverables for campaigns including web assets, digital ads, social graphics, video work, photo art direction, etc. - Work across channels to execute ideas that deliver on creative directions - Collaborate with Content Creators and Brand Marketing in the conception of high-production communications - Help identify external partners - photographers, illustrators, animators, producers, etc. - Understand how to work within production budgets on a project-by-project basis - Act as a senior leader within ICA and lead junior members The ideal Senior Designer will have: - 6+ years of experience in a design or art direction capacity; experience in retail, fashion, footwear is a plus! - A portfolio showcasing your work, with an emphasis on digital - Ability to see projects through ideation, development and resource allocation - Understanding of creative process, color theory and typography as well as digital design and video storytelling This is a 40 hours per week opportunity for the next 6 months, with the potential to go full-time.
