This position will also support some administrative duties for the office including answering the phones and typing. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of recent bookkeeping experience. A working knowledge of Abacus software is plus. Responsibilities: Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process Process accounts payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing Process Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, help with collection of past due balance Electronic billing using Abacus Prepare financial reports Enter bank deposits Support general office duties including typing, answering phones, and transcription Job Requirements: 2+ years recent work experience as a bookkeeper Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel Working knowledge of Abacus software is a plus Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills Strong analytical skills in basic accounts payable and accounting policy Detail oriented, accurate and able to multitask Robert Half Finance & Accounting matches skilled professionals with remote or on-site jobs in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, audit, taxation and more on a full-time basis.
