Purchasing Business Planner

Shiloh Industries - Detroit, MI - The PURCHASING BUSINESS PLANNER will report to the VP of Global Purchasing and will be responsible for interfacing with key cross-functional team members to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of Purchasing Cost Savings. This positional support will span both Direct Material and Indirect Material & Services commodity initiatives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned. Owner of NA Purchasing Cost Savings Tracking tool, including updating of savings data related to fiscal year budgets/projects for both direct materials and indirect materials (PPV/General Ledger impacts) Analyze/Integrate date from multiple ERP systems. Work with Direct and Indirect Commodity Managers to ensure accurate entry of cost savings data Coordinate monthly, and otherwise as needed, with Shiloh finance and plant controllers to reconcile savings data and obtain concurrence on impact to budget.
