Job Description - Platforms and Personalization Products is responsible for building the next generation platforms and services enabling Yahoo to deliver deeply personalized content to the hundreds of millions of users wherever they are and whatever mode of consumption they are using. In the process, we are also accelerating and redefining the web technology ecosystem to become a first class programming paradigm.

Required - 7+ years of experience in software design and development with a focus on large scale distributed, cluster, Hadoop, storage or cloud computin
5+ years of strong Unix/Linux experience, with in-depth understanding of system calls, file systems, and troubleshooting skills
TCP/IP network programming
Experience with databases, distributed key-value or object storage technologies highly desired
