Samantha Prabhu's post-breakup trip plan | Economic Times

They say travelling is a great way to keep breakup blues at bay. It appears that Telugu actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has found the best remedy to heal her broken heart.The 34-year-old actress planned an elaborate trip to Uttarakhand with her best friend and fashion designer, Shilpa Reddy. Prabhu, who announced her separation from husband Naga Chaitanya earlier this month, took to Instagram to share the best travel moments with her 19.4 million followers. She visited all four pilgrimage sites of the Char Dham Yatra - Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath - on a helicopter. 87225538On Friday evening, the actress performed aarti on the banks of river Ganges.Prabhu left on Thursday and concluded the trip on Saturday.
The 'Family Man 2' star said that she was always fascinated by the Himalayas, and this trip was a breathtaking experience for her. Ending her 'amazing trip', the actress wrote, "Ever since I read the Mahabharata, it has been a dream to visit this paradise on Earth, a place of great mystery, the abode of Gods."
"It has been everything I hoped it would be. Serene and majestic .. a complex confusion between myth and reality. The Himalayas will have a special place in my heart," she added.Samantha, dressed in a magenta ensemble, shared some more glimpses of her two-and-a-half-hour long Yamunotri trek. She spent some time petting the stray dogs.
On Friday, Prabhu and Reddy were exploring The Beatles Ashram situated in Rishikesh. The actress was thrilled to stand where 'The Beatles' once did. "At Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s ashram where they (The Beatles) practised 'Transcendental Meditation' and wrote 48 of their famous songs," she wrote.
She spent her day at the ashram's meditation centre, and read a book by Ruskin Bond. 87225722Prabhu also felt grateful during her trip. Quoting her mother, she shared an Insta Story. "Be thankful for what you are now, and keep fighting for what you want to be tomorrow."
