TMP Worldwide - New York City, NY - The Director, Project Management oversees a team of ScrumMasters and our agile development practices. The role is responsible for the direct management and delivery of high-visibility, cross-functional roadmap delivery. The role will drive the appropriate Agile methodology focused on predictable, quality delivery, and driving continuous improvement of the team. This role reports directly to the VP, Global Product Development. Responsibilities Oversee, directly manage, and coach a team of ScrumMasters Active member of leadership team ensuring shippable software is delivery with value in a timely manner across all teams. Foster an environment of successful delivery and continuous improvement through mastery of change management (adoption) and project management (installation) Help project teams deal with challenges related to how they work and interact together Drive correct usage of Agile methodologies with the goal of reducing project risk, increasing performance visibility, while better controlling outcome and quality of output Initiate, coordinate, and control execution and completion of projects for all roadmap development teams Work with senior product leadership and continually report and advise on team performance and health of initiatives Manage ScrumMasters’ adherence to Agile project management process and enforces operational discipline to establish predictable and reliable schedule of delivery Partner closely with Product Management and provide for appropriate Agile toolsets to provide transparency to roadmap and related priorities Qualifications 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in Agile environment Familiarity and strong proficiency in various Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle 2+ years of experience managing a team in an Agile or PMO environment CSP-SM certification PMP certification a plus, but not required Prior experience supporting support Agile software development teams and/or processes, including leading scrum ceremonies Experience supporting geographically distributed teams In-depth knowledge of JIRA and Confluence Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills Proven track record using analytical skills and data-driven decision making to support and improve Agile development operations Join the global leader in talent acquisition technologies that’s committed to finding new ways to leverage software, strategy and creative to enhance our clients’ employer brands – across every connection point.
