Warehouse Associate Job Responsibilities Warehouse Associate responsibilities include, select, clean, pack and palletize pet food, per customer order. Package, consolidate, wrap and load picked orders onto delivery trucks; up to 10 to 20 pallets per shift. Will use electric pallet jack to pick orders and load trucks. Lifts up to 50lbs. Warehouse Associate Pay Rate Our Warehouse Associates start at $12.00 per hour. Warehouse Associate Work Hours Warehouse Associates work Monday through Friday, second shift hours. The shift starts at 4:00 pm until approximately 2:00 am. We do guarantee next day delivery to our customers so we work until the job is finished for the day. Working overtime on short notice is required. Requirements: Warehouse Associate Job Qualifications Excellent attention to detail and focus is a must to ensure accuracy and quality. Safely operate and become certified in the operation of all warehouse equipment, including forklifts, walk-riders, shrink-wrap machines and pallet jacks. Communicate safety issues or concerns to supervisor. Abide by all company policies and procedures. Read, write and speak English. Add, subtract, multiply and divide. Meet deadlines and work under pressure. Flexible to changing customer or operational demands and able to work overtime on short notice. Position requires working until the job is complete. Organized, cooperative and a team player. Basic computer knowledge to be able to read and operate RF equipment. Pass a drug screen throughout employment. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
